Description/History:It is a heart shaped card with a girl, a boy and a girl in an arirplane, and cupid on the front. There is a paper lace overlay and it has a blue border.Inside there is an illustration of a boy and a girl at the beach. The text reads " Valentine Greetings, Little playmate, tell me true, Have I any chance with You? Let me be your Valentine, For you always have been mine." Printed on the back is "Whitneymade, Worcester, Mass., made in USA." It is a valentine given to Mary Ruth Johnson McShane (1909-2001) of Mt. Vernon during her school years.
